A Warm Place

“Warm” can mean many things, not just temperature. I believe it can also mean embraces, laughter shared, excitement running through stomachs, and wide smiles. I also feel that these warm definitions happen numerous times in homes. Homes are where these feelings always come back to. The entrance way might be the most key section of a house. Each pair of shoes on the entrance mat resembles a world of adventures, his running shoes where he got 2nd place in track, her high heels that sparkle at every party, and their crocs that they’ve made many castles at beaches with. The kitchen is the room full of flavors, ones that will make your insides and your happiness full. Somewhere we go for quick snacks before homework time commences, somewhere to fuel after an exhausting day. The kitchen is a space to chat with family or friends while munching on nourishments. The bedroom is the “You room”. It's full of your interests and things you care about. This space holds things you’ve collected throughout your years, making a beautiful setup.This room is where you can dream under heavy blankets and replenish for the arriving day. There are a handful more locations in a home, but my last one is the one that sticks the house together, the living room. The love that is expressed in this room is so enormous that it floods the room. This area is for playing board games, mourning together from hard times, watching television, or just being there with people you love. So many rooms, feelings, and thoughts. The most crucial thought in my opinion, is that a home is where you belong no matter what, a place that will adore and care for you in any condition. Somewhere and something everyone deserves.
