What home means to me!

What home means to me! By Laurel Kennes To me a home is more than just walls and colours, so in this writing piece I will explain what home means to me. Home means love. Your family loves and cares for you, they do stuff with or for you but no matter what, they do it with love. Your mom and dad care for you with love. They will always love you even if you argue or get mad at them. Home means safety. When you're safe you are a lot more comfortable. When you are comfortable you can do more stuff because you feel safe. You can sit down and enjoy yourself because no one is going to judge you or hurt you. Home means joy/happiness. When you are happy or joyful you feel good and when you are home no one is going to purposely make you mad or sad. No one at your house would want to see you cry or be frustrated so they would do stuff to make you happy. Home means memories. Whether your memories are on a camera or in your heart, maybe even in your mind, they are still memories you have and you made. Maybe it's when you learn to ride a bike or when you went on vacation, they are still memories you made and had fun doing it. Home means time. Your family spends time with you. They hang out with you and have fun with you. They take time in their day so that they can make you happy. They might not hang out with you everyday but at least they try to spend time with you. And that is what home means to me!
