What is Home to Me

Home is my happy place. Home is a place that I can be myself. My room is a place of comfort and a place where I can let out all my worries by reading, writing and sleeping. The kitchen is a communal place where My family can talk about our day. Our living room is a comforting place for watching movies as a family. Our basement is a place for me and my sis to play with toys. About two years ago, me and my family had to move out of our beloved home to a new house for more space. We could not find a house in the area around my old school, so we had to move houses and schools. It was really hard to get used to our new house. At the start, the house did not feel like ours. We were living in boxes and there were weird stains on the carpets. In September when school started, it was so hard. I had no friends. After a while, I got used to staying there and I even got my room personalized.
