Home

My home is a place where love thrives, A place where we laugh and sometimes cry. My mom is an island, happy and free, And my dad is proud of our family. My two sisters, curious and full of grace, Are pretty mysteries I love to embrace. I hope those around us come to realize That not everyone is as fortunate as I. That's why I wrote this poem to say: A home is a place to enjoy each day, To care for one another, and always be kind, A place where love and safety you will find.
