Home

A home is a place where a human being makes memories that will stay with them forever. At my home it is sometimes a loud place. It is filled with new and forgotten toys, stacks of books, and technology. These would be scattered across rooms in the house, top to bottom. The toys held memories of role playing adventures across the bedroom carpet. They would race each other in vehicles, have epic battles, and build massive forts. The books told stories that would last for generations, teaching us lessons either fiction or nonfiction. Before bedtime, my mom would read these tales to us, and would make up the dreams we had at night. The technology, however, could be both a toy or story. On the TV, the screen would show the pictures and read at the same time. Through video games, we could experience vast land and defeat enemies, with a controller in our hands. This new form of entertainment will be around for generations, leaving books and toys in the dust. But one world that can never be as good as a video game is the back yard. On the trampoline, we would feel like we were touching the clouds, similar to the swing. The tree house would be our castle, and we were the knights defending it from imaginary monsters. At dinner time, we would eat delicious home food and fast food. The feeling of having food flowing through your body was extraordinary. We would be warm and happy together at the table, and talk about what happened during the day. These would also be special childhood memories, and make up dreams too. To me, a home is a place that holds childhood together. so cherish the time you have left. A Home is different from a house, because it is not about the bricks outside, it's the people inside.
