The Meaning of Home

Home is like someone who is always there for you and when you're sad they will make you happy. Home is like a friend that will always stand up for you if you're getting bullied. Home isn’t just a house, it’s a home. But the special thing about just every home is that they are welcoming and beautiful. Some people don’t have a home, and lots of them have to live on the streets or in a shelter. I feel really bad that some people don’t have a 100% safe home. There is a shelter across the street from my school. The kids that live there always seem very sad and I want to do something about it. If I get the grand prize I will give it to the crestfallen people at the shelter beside my school. They really deserve a home. If you haven’t ever been to my house it will feel like you're in a home that is right for you and safe for you.
