What is Home?
If I could put myself
In the shoes of another
One who has no home
And is left to struggle
If I was in their shoes
How grateful I would be
To have a home
Full of laughter and glee
A home isn’t just a shelter
For those in need
It’s a room full of love
No lavish belongings or greed
Now, I think of my home
I’m lucky to have a bed
Food, water, clothes
And a roof over my head
My home is not just a place
Nor a room or space
Instead, it’s full of warmth
And love to embrace
