My home is as comforting as a cozy blanket on a wintery day It is so warm with the love that it might melt the ice away I can feel relaxed and be myself and make sure no one is in my way My home is the anchor to our family that keeps up secured together like a pier that might never break My home invites sunshine and happiness though the big windows Where we can watch the birds sing and chirp My home makes my family and I safe with the strong walls and secured doors A house is just a place to be but home is where memories are free Like a shooting star in the night that provides us with a magical light If I were to choose a house or a home I would choose a home a thousand times more.
