The Meaning of Home

Home is where the heart is Where I was born Where I am raised And where I am always praised I’m loved to the moon by my sisters But my love for them is sky-high They are the people that I laugh and play with all day Indoors, outdoors and everywhere we go My parents are the best cooks in the world. At night they always say goodnight And always say sleep tight And leave the room with lots of love The beds, they’re as cozy as a cat It’s where we get sleep and rest So we can do our best to play And to that I say hooray! The meaning of home means something different depending on who you are Thank you Habitat for Humanity for building homes for people who can’t afford them.
