My Home
My home is my safety.
Its security is filled with love.
It’s the smell of Dad’s sweet pastry.
And my mothers warm hugs.
My home is my dog Bruce,
and his sweet honey kiss.
It has my families roots
In the pictures that we miss.
My home is my fluffy kittens
And all their playful joy.
It's all that surrounds me
That makes me most smitten.
My home is my goofy dog, Rusty.
Ten years young, like me
He is my truest companion
And he is oh so trusty.
My home is my everything.
It holds all I love dear.
We all deserve our own home,
To be clear.
