Meaning of home

Hi, my name is Izzy and I’m in Ms. V and Madam Ani class. I am thankful for my house. I’m thankful for my beautiful backyard with a lake I can swim in in the summer and skate on in the winter. I live in my house with my sister, my mom, and my dad. They are all kind and give no judgment. If I win, I will give the tablet to my sister because she has wanted one for a long time. I love my house but not because it is pretty or because its comfy it’s because it’s filled with lots of love. My house is cozy because its quiet and I can watch TV in a warm blanket. I love my house because I can bake for my friends and family. My favorite things to do in my house are baking, drawing, painting, eating, and watching TV. I think everyone should be able to have a home with loving family members. Even if I don’t win, I will still donate as much money as I can. I love my house because I can feel safe and not have to worry about a math problem or what a word in French is. I can relax at home and watch TV. I can feel like I don’t need to dress up for school. My house is the best place to calm me down. My favorite place in my house is my room. My favorite place is my room because I can read, draw, and rite in my book. I’m very grateful that I have lots of great memories in my house with my family. Home is my time to be me. That is why I love my home and you should too ! ! ! !
