The Meaning of Home

The word I chose for my meaning of home is comfortable. You’re probably wondering why I chose comfortable, well let me tell you. Comfortable is a word that describes my home because everything that makes me happy is at my home and that makes me feel comfortable. I have my dog, brother, sister, mom and dad. I feel very comfortable and safe when I am around them. My dog plays a big role in my life. For example my dog , whenever I feel sad I snuggle with my dog and she always makes me feel better and more comfortable. Because my family always makes me feel better about myself. Another thing about why my home feels comfortable is, I have a big hockey setup in my basement, so when I am down in my basement shooting pucks I feel comfortable because hockey makes me happy. Hockey makes me happy because it gives me a certain comfort just like my home does. The final reason why my house is comfortable is because of my pool. I enjoy swimming in my pool because I can play water volleyball with my siblings, and sliding on my super cool slide. In conclusion my one word for my home is comfortable. For it explains my house in the very best way, and I love my home and everyone in it.
