The Meaning of Home

My home is a place to belong, a safe place. The safety of my home is because of all the people protecting me, the feeling of being protected, like when your sister protect you from The cold with his coat, that is a feeling of safety. The people i take care is also my home, the feeling of have someone to be open with your feelings, to talk and feel well, like when my dad is Helping me to get my goals, or my mom helping me to learn how to cook. My memories, like when I was building a Lego with my little sister, or when I crashed my head against the wall, when my teacher of fourth grade named me the best student of the class, those are memories that I can't forget. My home is also my traditions like the dia de muertos, when me and my sisters decorate the altar with sugar skulls, dead’s bread, marigold, and waiting my grandma to come in the night, the new year, we count all the night and wait to the fireworks, drinking atole with my cousin, Leonardo, having fun with my little cousin, Matias, and Talking with my uncles, after that, the morning of January 6, we receive our Christmas gifts, an enjoy from the food that my mom prepares for us. The culture, like our calendar, and the native food, like quesadillas, also the feeling of home is our happiness like people.
