My Happy Place

The day is over and I'm glad to go home It's my weighted blanket after a hard day I reach the top step of the deck and my dog greets me with a slobbery kiss I step inside the warm air floods my body head to toe It's like all my problems just disappear My littlest dog who thinks he's as big as a bear jumps up to greet me after a cold winter's day I'm finally here where I belong where I am happy where I am safe I'm finally home
