Home is where the heart is
Home does not have to be a place or an object, it is where you feel safe, comfortable and happy. For me I feel safe, comfortable and happy when I'm skiing, going to my grandparents and going on vacations with my family. Every Saturday night my mom, brother, and I go up north to my grandparents to ski. I’ve been doing this every winter for seven years (since I started). So skiing has always been a tradition in my family, therefore this sport has always felt like a second home for me. Even though my grandparents live an hour away, it’s always been so fun to go to their house. My family and I always spend Christmas up north, my aunt and uncle who live in Germany come to Canada to celebrate with us. Going on trips is always my favourite thing to do with my family. Every time we go is always so fun, with all the activities we do together, swimming together, eating fun suppers and trying new things together.
In conclusion, home is where the place, people or things make you feel safe, comfortable and happy. And as some people say home is where the heart is.
