I am from...
I am from a street that is littered with children,
hockey nets,
bicycles with quads parked in the driveway,
street hockey games interrupted when car’s come by.
I am from the house on the hill
with photo albums of my great grandma that use to lay in this house,
it might look different now,
but the blanket on the couch makes it feel like she’s still here
I am from the years of memories with my family.
The backyard bbq with the people I love,
nights were we make popcorn and play games
'till we can’t stand each other.
I am from home
