I am from mom’s clicking keyboard, And dad’s beeping blood pressure cuff, With siblings arguing about who’s turn it is to watch tv, My brothers turning their noses up when I talk about makeup, I am from nostalgic family time, Christmas with scattered and torn wrapping paper, Greasy popcorn for movie nights with the sweet and savory smell of butter, And the house with warm loving cuddles.
