The Meaning of Home

One of my traditions is going to the theme park each summer. Last summer, I went to the theme park with my mom, dad, and my cousin. We went on the zipper ride. It is the scariest ride. You lay back and the seat moves forward and. When we reach the maximum height, I got a scared and started crying. I’m scared of heights. I was happy when it was over, and I could touch the ground again. I’m never going on that ride again! Then I was hungry, so we ate hot dogs and pizza. The next ride we went on was the spin ride. Only my dad and I went on that ride because my mom and cousin thought it was too scary. We sat on the spin ride, and it goes forward, sideways, back, sideways. Someone’s hat fell under the engine. I was terrified it would break the ride. I was afraid for my life, luckily, we survived. Unfortunately, the guy didn’t get his hat back. Our next ride was just me and my cousin. I can’t remember what it’s called. When we sat on the ride it took two minutes to start. It started spinning and got higher and higher and faster and faster. Someone’s purse went flying under a food truck. I look forward to going to the theme park with my family each year.
