My Meaning of Home
At Home, I can sprint to my peaceful doorstep and smell Evergreens more vibrant than a rainbow. Once I trot into my safe haven, I can greet my cat with a forest frenzy of fluffy fur. Afterwards, I would cuddle up in my blanket softer than a bee’s back. And while I lay in my home, I'll have to leave it sooner or later. And once I take my first few steps out, I get shoved down by a great thundercloud of grief. My only escape is home, I can let everything go and be safe from an irritation when home welcomes you back with open arms. I can jump into my furry bed and sleep for another day. Thank you Habitat For Humanity so all families can have a home.
