What My Home Is Today
Home is where friends come and go
In my home my heart lays low.
Home is where you get to create memories
Even through the evil enemies.
Home is where I brush my hair
All my hair is brushed with care.
Home is where my parents say no
Even if I love to grow.
Home is where love is clear
Under my roof I will not fear.
Home is a place with fresh air.
And hugs as tight as a bear.
Home is where the baby cries
Just as fast as time flys when I tie my ties.
Home is where you get the flu
Home is where I think of you.
Home is where you play all day
even if you fly away.
Home is where I woke up to laughter
Home is where we watch a growing sunflower.
Home is where I hate to fight
Home is where I learned to write.
Home is where you write in gray
Home is where you spend your birthday.
Home is where you hurt your knee
Home is where you get lucky.
Home is where the mice speak quietly
Home is where I write in my diary.
Home is where I meet my new family
Home is where you eat the candy.
Home is a place where you get to embrace
Home is a place with a safe space.
Home is where you get to sweep
Home is where you go to sleep.
Thank you Habitat for Humanity for this great blessing.
