What home means to me

To me home is a place where you can feel safe, comfortable and relaxed. It’s a place where you feel happy and joyful when you get home. It’s a place where your loved ones are and where you can share your feelings. Where your loved ones are is where you feel loved the most. Home is a place where you can laugh, have fun and play games. To me home is when I walk in through the front door and I feel all my nerves go away. It means me and my family sitting on the soft, big, comfy and relaxing couch all watching a family movie and laughing until someone falls asleep. When you and your loved ones are all sitting around the dinner table all having a nice yummy, hot, flavorful, delicious homemade meal. Home is when my mom bakes her yummy, delicious, blueberry and chocolate muffins. The muffins are so yummy and chocolatey there is so much chocolate in the muffins, My mom uses chocolate chunks not chocolate chips. Home is when we sit outside around the fire pit on a nice summer night and have smores and marshmallows while watching the sun set. The marshmallows are so ooey gooey and the chocolate is so Chocolatey! There is a special way that I make smores. I call them Paitynn smores. They Involved marshmallows, chocolate inside the marshmallows and an extra piece of chocolate for extra flavor. For me my bedroom is my safe place if I ever need alone time or to go somewhere to get away from everybody. I know I can go to my room and feel better. Home is a place where you should feel safe because I know for me home is my safe space and I think people can agree. I love my house and where I live. I hope I never have to move away from my amazing community.
