Home the place where I am never alone. The place where I always come back to. The place where I set up a movie night and make a menu for the snacks. When love is always in the air. When I do gymnastics, whale watching tv. Eating ice cream with my mom on the couch all snuggled up in a blanket. Waking up in the morning to make my breakfast before school. The smell of my mom’s healthy cookies. When my brother wants to play soccer with me, and I finally give in. My friends coming over, doing their nails and playing on my swing in the basement. The place where my mom does hair. The place where I know everyone loves me. The sounds of the birds chirping on the back porch. And where we play with water and spray it on my mom while she is sun tanning. The place where we go on the party boat. Where my friends come over and come in my hide out in the back yard. Home is not only the place where you live it’s where your family is. Home is where the heart is.
