Nevaeh's New Home

Nevaeh put a smile on her face and hugged her mom and dad with a joyful feeling in her heart. She thought, "This is what makes a family and a home special," as she packed her things and put her suitcase in her mom's trunk. She started daydreaming about how amazing the house would be, and how she, her sister, her mom, and her dad would have the best time together. She imagined smelling the fresh air, going to the beach and seeing pink cotton candy clouds shining through the sky, playing in the water with her sister, and having a great time. When they finally arrived at the new house, it was amazing, and even though it was medium-sized, Nevaeh didn't care, only that she now had a house and a family that would make it special. A day or two later, the house was finally filled with furniture. Nevaeh's room was big and cute, and she loved it. Her mom was cooking lasagna, Nevaeh's favourite dish. Her mom called everyone down and set the dinner table. Nevaeh ran downstairs as soon as she smelled the delicious aroma of her favourite dish. This is what makes a home special. Nevaeh sat down and waited for the lasagna to be placed in front of her, and when it was, she thought, "This is what makes a home special." Her dad and sister soon arrived, and they sat down and said a prayer before starting to eat. As soon as the hot, cheesy, delicious lasagna entered her mouth, she felt pure joy. This is what makes a home special.
