Home for Humanity

When I am at home I feel calm, When I am at home I see my mom. When I step in my home, I see my dog at the door, As she jumps on me with glee then I feel sore. When I come home I smell dinner, It smells so good it makes me feel like a winner. When I am in my home I hear the TV playing, I listen closely to hear what the characters are saying. In my home when its dinner I taste the food, It tastes so good it changes my mood. When I step in I touch my fluffy pet, Sometimes the snow gets her wet. Those are some reasons why I love home, And that’s why I wrote this poem.
