Home Means Everything
What is home really?
Is it just where we sleep?
Is it just where we eat?
Home is so much more.
It’s not just a building.
It’s where you’re happy and loved.
It’s safe with your heart: laughter, memories, love, and sweetness all in one place.
With friends and family, roots are sown.
That house is outgrown;
it once was a house and now it’s called home.
All emotions like joyfulness, sorrow, and vexation but most importantly love fill a home.
Once you're planted, you can’t be pulled away.
When the bond is that strong it will be hard to leave and for the love to go away because home is where most people want to stay.
Home is filled with calmness and comfort.
It’s welcoming and warmhearted.
Home is where people you love surround you.
It’s sweet like the most delicious chocolate cake baking or the strongest relationships being made.
Similar to the laughter and fun of games with your family.
Where nothing else in the world matters.
Those kinds of bonds make a house home.
A house becomes home when we make it home. Now you probably think “How do we make a house home?”We make it when we love and care for it just like it cares for us. It’s like the whole world where we are all welcome and calm. So we need to be thankful for our home considering that some people don’t have that and we take that for granted.
To answer the question “What does home mean?”, Home means everything, most of all peace. It's the whole wide world to many people, most of all to me.
