Home
Home is not only a place with some walls and a door,
Home is where I feel loved to the core.
Hopefully you feel comfortable to walk around there in your bare feet,
Even though home is sometimes bittersweet.
Some people live alone,
They sleep on the streets,
They don’t have a home.
Sometimes not having a home is a choice,
Some people live without another single voice.
Home is a place you will not be judged,
It’s also a place to eat chocolate fudge.
Home to me is the only place that really matters,
It’s also where me and my mom make cake batter.
Home is a place with love and screams,
Where me and my sister achieve our dreams.
Eat, sleep, play, or laugh,
All our old toys and crafts.
Even if you are feeling sad or alone,
You are lucky to have a place called home
