What Home Means to Me

What Home Means To Me | A poem by: Cristiano in 6A ♡ Home is where I can go, no worries or no fear. A place where we can find ourselves happy, No more yelling or loud noises ringing in my ears. Even when we’re scared or sad, home is the place to go. Home is made of family, one or two or three, Even when we’re mad at each other, we always forgive. Home makes me feel relaxed, no need to run or flee. We can sing or laugh or dance, no pressure to be clear. Home is when you feel refreshed, after a big fight. I can smell my mother’s cooking, delicious as always. There's no need to be scared, no matter day or night. Because you know your family is always by your side. Autumn, Summer, Spring or Winter, every day’s the same. No matter if the sun is down or up, nothing ever makes you cry. Any day I would choose family over fame. If someone took your stuff, no need to fight, simply give it back. Even if there's drama, no need to stand and stare. Home is a happy, fun, and enthusiastic place. Make sure everyone’s happy, and love is in the air. Brothers or Sisters, Mothers or Fathers, everyone should be happy. Entering or leaving my house, I'm filled with joy. The sounds of cars or trucks passing by, Even if someone breaks a new toy. The pressure is gone when I get home.
