Importance Of Home
A home is very important to me because a home is where people grow up. A home (or a kind of shelter) keeps us safe from the cold, the rain, the danger outside and more. A nice home in my opinion could have a nice room all to yourself, with a nice, cozy bed plus an organized desk. At home we eat good food from food you ordered to food you cooked or baked. Plus that feeling, the excitement of having that food just makes me feel more good.
Where you live is not just like a shelter or a home, but also your surroundings, city, province and country. So I want to talk about that as well. In the skatepark right beside where I live, me and my dad would go to the big field next to the skatepark and play sports and games there (during spring break or in the summer). We made good memories there at the field.
In my city of Winnipeg, me and my family would always go to one of two parks in the summer. At school (which is not far from where I live), I made good friends and we would always laugh with each other. Where I live is a fun place to live in (although it is not perfect) and everyday I think about how lucky I am to be here.
And that is what a home means to me.
