Meaning of Home

What does home mean to you? Does it mean family? Or laughter? Home is where you sleep, eat, and love. When I come home from school I see a dove outside my window. It just makes me think how grateful I am to have a home like this and how I am not alone Home is Calm. I know home feels like reading in the grass while my dog chews a bone. Home is the waves peacefully overlapping, like a vase of flowers blowing in the wind. Home is reading a good book while waiting for something to cook. Home is having hot chocolate, steaming with heat, that’s what calm feels to me. Home is Family. Home feels like the warm embrace of my sweet mother. Home is like waking up to the loud sound of my adorable dog. Home is playing a card game with my family, laughing so hard. Home is comforting when lines of water are running down their face. Home is praying for them in rough times. I can’t imagine what I would be without them. Remember What Home Means. Home is a place I love and I hope you love it too! Home is where you belong with your family and only you, not others. Your family helps you with your ups and downs and you do the same! Everyone has a home, not a house. Sure, people have a house but again everyone has a home. Thank you Habitat For Humanity, for making people have a HOME.
