This Is What Home Means To Me
My home is not a house where a mouse runs about.
Home is like an abode where family members help me carry a heavy load.
My home is where I grow and where I get brought up from my lows.
Home is where I get taught from right and wrong,
Not just a place with a fancy lawn.
A home is not just a roof over my head, but to me, a place that can never be stead.
This very spot holds my loved ones who I’d always know that I can lean on and trust,
My home also holds the cherished memories of those who passed, wishing time has not gone by so fast.
It's a special space, it’s a place I call home.
