What Makes a Home?
What Makes a Home?
Home isn’t a place you find. It's something you build. It doesn’t have to be something physical. The only tools you use to construct it are love and compassion.
It’s a place that’s warm even on the chilliest of days.
It’s not about the shape of the house. Or the color. It’s about the aura, a sweet, loving aura.
A house might look no different than any other. But the stories that paint its walls, the love that fills it up, make it a home.
My house is a home. Warm and comfortable and familiar. A million things happened on that couch. A thousand in that hallway.
It’s where my siblings and I bicker, hug, laugh, and run. It’s where my family gets together around the table every night to share stories.
It’s where I feel safe and at peace, content and warm.
It’s where I feel loved.
