What Home Means To Me

Home is a place where I am happy. Home is my happy place where I can be with my family. My home is where I feel comfortable and safe. My bedroom is my personal space where I can chill on my own. At times, my brother will annoy me in my room. Home is a place where I am with my family. For example, when I am camping with my family and roasting marshmallows by the campfire, that feels like home to me. Telling funny jokes and looking at the water and having night swims is home to me when we go camping. Looking at the stars and hearing the wildlife after dark, feels peaceful. As long as I am with my family that is home to me. Family is the most important thing to me. Home is a place where I feel loved and safe. It is where we play board games, like Monopoly and Clue. At home I like to watch movies with my brother. When we watch movies, we sit on the couch and we watch funny movies and have popcorn. When my little brother goes to sleep, we watch scary movies and then we go to sleep too. I love it when we watch movies with my family. My bed is where I feel comfortable. My warm blankets and my pillows make me sleep better at night. I love it when I can sleep in my nice room. The walls in my room are painted a nice light brown. The color makes me feel happy. Home is where I feel the best. Everyone should feel like somewhere is home to them.
