The Meaning of Home

THE MEANING OF HOME… The meaning of home for me is fishing. When me and my dad are fishing nothing really matters. All that matters is you are having a good time, talking, hanging out with family, and catching fish! I love the feeling of when you feel that nice jerk on the rod when you have a big fish on. You cannot describe feeling of when you catch your first fish. I like when you get to your fishing spot and the weather is just perfect. I love when you and your friends do a fishing tournament, and you win! When you catch a new species of fish it feels like you have just won the Lottery. I love when you get a fish in the boat and the hook comes out easy. I like to get in the boat and go full power on the engine, while I feel the breeze in my hair. I like when I hear the drag go screaming while my rod is bending. You cannot describe the feeling of when you go on your first fishing charter. I love to see that bobber go down. When you’re fishing you always need a good fishing hat. This is why I like fishing and it feels like home.
