My home means warmth, safety, and
love. Home is a place I am wanted and
cared for. My home is where my mom,
dad, and siblings are. Home is a safe
haven for me and my brothers and means
a roof over my head and a bed to sleep
in. Home is the warm feeling I get when
I smell my mom’s fresh pasta salad,
pulled pork and stew made from the
ducks and deer my dad hunted. Home is
my farm and all the memories I made
there. Home is my dad’s trailer and all
the hard work he did to provide hockey
for me and my brothers. Home is the ice
rink my hockey team used to play on
every weekend last year. Home is where
I carve wood every day. Home feels
frustrated, upset, and filled with
happiness. Home is wherever the annual
pumpkin contest is held every year.
