The Meaning of Home

Home is a place we should feel safe. A place that can feel different from others. There are special things that make home home! Some homes have many memories, some are just getting started. Home can be tight but cozy, some have open spaces, new or old, modern and not modern. You make your home your home. Home is a lot more than a house. A house is the building, a home has memories and people. Home can be shared, maybe rented, maybe you have a roommate, but every home is loved no matter what. I love my home. It's a little small, but I like it! I smell pancakes every morning and the sound of my mom rushing out the door. It's those things that make home what you smell, what you hear most of all, how you feel at home. Sometimes home is not a happy place. Sometimes their happy place is the kitchen because they like to cook, maybe not inside, maybe they like it more outside. Maybe they like to jump in a mud puddle in the rain, maybe they like to run in the open grass. It's (maybe) because I'm not sure what others like to do at home. But my happy place is my room. I like my room. It's cozy, it's just right for me, and it should be the same, just a good room for you. I think home should be where you are happy, put in the ingredients in your home and mix it up and turn it into a home you love! What you put into your home is your choice. What do you like to do at home? What do you do at home? But there is one thing about home- you need to keep it clean! If your home is not clean, then it's messy and if it's messy, it's not a good place to be. Make sure your home is clean! :)
