Love's Garden

Home is like a garden where a family grows how flowers bloom. Just like a flower, my home began as a seed and just like a sprout, my family grew stronger and stronger with time and care. When we move from place to place, it’s like a seedling moving from pot to pot. My family’s pot has had many moves, and even changed from India to Canada, but the roots of who we are stayed the same. In my home, every new memory we make helps new flowers in our garden grow. When we make each other happy a new fruit grows, and my home is full of fruits. Home is where families pour love on their garden and that love reminds me of the rain falling from the sky. Sometimes families can forget to water their garden, but then it can be doubled up the day after. When a home has problems, they need to be fixed, just like you have to fix a weed in a garden. If you ignore the problems in your home, they will get bigger and bigger just like a weed will get bigger and bigger if you don’t pull it out. If there are too many weeds it will make it difficult to grow the flowers. In a garden, some flowers may die but that doesn’t mean the garden is gone forever. You can always plant more seeds to make your garden complete, just like you can always make new memories to make your home complete. My home and my family are complete. That is what home means to me. My home is like a garden.
