Home

Home, to me, is not confined to a place; it’s embodied in the people who make every moment memorable. It is in the late night conversations that stretch into the early hours I have with my Brother, where we talk about life and its mysteries. It’s found in the spontaneous long walks I have with my Dad to nowhere, where the journey itself is more meaningful than any destination. Home is in the laughter shared while playing in the deep snow with my Mom and Brother, our hands numb and legs frozen, yet our joy remains boundless as we make snow angels and build snowmen. It’s in the peaceful moments I had with my family at Niagara Falls, where I was admiring the waterfall thinking about my future and never wanting to grow up but here I am, about to go to middle school to start a new journey in life. I realize that Home is the collection of these small, precious moments with those who are very important to me and to cherish the present before it becomes the past.
