Home is where memories are made. Memories are happy things like when you have your friends and family over to celebrate your birthday. Home is where laughter is. Like when you tell jokes and funny stories with your mom and dad around the table or watch a funny movie during Friday night movie night. Home is where happiness is. Like when you make clay bead bracelets with your mom and play uno flip or Monopoly with your dad. It's snuggling with your mom before be. Home is a safe place. It is guarded from any danger. Home keeps us cozy and safe from cold windy winter storms. Home is where peace is. it is calm in the house and you are free to act yourself. there is no fighting and we always get along. Home is where kindness is. We invite people into our home to share a meal and learn more about them. It is helping your dad make dinner or helping your mom do the dishes. Home is where family is. You get to spend extra special time with your mom and dad. you can also have your Grandma and Grandpa over to visit. Home is where the excitement is. It's the feeling of waking up and running downstairs to pen your presents on Christmas morning. The tree is sparkling with shiny ornaments hanging from each branch. Home is where your favourite things are. like my scrunchies, bracelets, stuffies and books. They're kept safely in my bedroom where I hang out with friends. And that is what home means to me!
