Home

Home is something that everyone deserves; it’s somewhere I cherish with people I love. Home is where I feel warm, safe and loved, where I’ve forged loving relationships and made memories that will last a lifetime. Home is where I play with my dog, Gemma, and my brother as we laugh, play and run around. Home is where I smell my mom’s cooking, her pulled pork, salmon, beef stew and more. Then we sit down and eat, as we eat we laugh at my parents funny stories, and they share advice with us as we tell them of our days. Home is a place where I can feel safe and free to be myself, wherever home is, because to me home is more than a place home is with the people you love and cherish. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for helping people and families everywhere to be able to make these loving memories and find a place they can call home.
