Meaning of Home to Me
Home is where the heart is, home is where love and joy and hope live, but most of all it is where the people I love and care about are.
Home is where my family and I play the games that we love, making memories that will last forever and ever.
Home is where my parints’s foods waft through the house like crèpes, pasta, sausages, and lezonya. It is where we sit around the table eating delicious foods that they made.
Home is where gifts are colourfully wrapped with care, then given and are unwrapped at Christmas time with my sister Ruth, my mother, father, my cats.
Home is where my very friendly black cats play around with spring toys, laser pointers, and even things they probably shouldn’t be, then go to sleep on my lap, or my bed, or my feet, or in a box.
Home is where I watch movies on Saturday nights eating popcorn, and crackers with my awesome family.
Home is where my sister and I play together even if we get into arguments sometimes but we love each other anyway.
Home is where I can make other people's homes feel more homey, for instance, some new neighbours moved in next to my house. They used to live in an apartment building in Toronto so they had no experience with shoveling snow so we decided to go shovel it for them.
Home is where the heart is, and we are where the heart is, and the heart is in my home with my family.
