F A M I L Y is my Home

Home is a place where everyone has a space. where they can be free. Free from hate and sorrow and welcome to love and family. Family. My family is athletic, caring, funny and sometimes really annoying. But I wouldn't want it any other way. My family is like a circle, when I am in the circle I feel like I am happy and loved. When I am out of the circle it feels like I am outside in the cold and everyone disapproves of me, But when that happens my family will always listen, and let me back in. That's a true family. Animals. My pets are the ones who bring us all together. They are the ones that make are family a family. Even when they bite or claw us, they will never not be welcomed into our hearts. Mom and Dad Mom will help me with whatever I need, like when I am sick my mom will always makes sure I'm okay. And dad will always listen when I need him to or sleep with me when I am scared. I Love. I love my home because my family is in it, they make me feel like I have a place in this world. What makes a home is the people that are inside of it, because the only reason I need a roof over my head is to block the rain and snow from coming in. For me what makes a home is family. Love. The love in any home is what powers people, and keeps people happy and strong, like gas for a car, or energy in a battery. You. You can help people who need a family because if someone needs a home, take the opportunity to help those in need. I wrote this poem to tell people that know matter where you live, if you have someone who loves you, you will always be at home.
