What is home

Home is a place you can open up. But home doesn’t have to be your house. Home can be your school or your grandma's house. Home to me is where my family is. Home is a place where you’re comfortable, a place where you can smile and be happy. Home is your family and friends. Home is a place where you can warm up when you’re cold. Home shouldn’t be a place where you pretend to be happy. When I get back from school I love the smell of what my mom or dad are cooking. When I get back from school I love the smell of my home. When I get home from school I love that I get to see my family. Home is a place where if you’re feeling sad your people are there for you. I feel like I'm at home when I'm eating my favourite food. I feel like I'm at home when I go to my favourite place. I feel like I'm at home when I'm with my people. When I'm at home I'm BRAVE. When I'm at home I'm HAPPY. Home is a place where you can play your favourite games and eat your favourite food. home is a place where you make memories and when life gets hard your family is there for you!
