What Home Means to Me

What does home mean to you? My home means family, “home is where my heart is’. It means memories, precious moments that will always be with you. There is a difference between a house and a home. A house is a place with four walls and a roof, a home is a place for love and affection and feelings. Home is like a volcano sometimes. It can be crazy and chaotic, but sometimes it can be cozy and warm. Everyone’s home is different. It could be a townhouse or an apartment but it doesn’t matter how big your house is or how fancy you house is. It only matters how you feel. In my home, I feel as though there’s no place I’d rather be. It’s the place I belong. My home is where my mom, dad and sister can make the adjustment because not everything is going to go your way. But, when you’re with the right people you can handle anything. I’m so grateful for my wonderful home but I’m more thankful for the people inside it. So home is more than just a place. It’s where your family is. That’s what home means to me.
