Home means so much to me It means being with friends and family I don’t have to be scared to be home Home is a place to grow and roam At home there is a free environment to see. You are able to be yourself and branch out like a tree No fear, no pain, no stuck being alone It’s your place, your domain, you’re the ruler on your throne. A place to sleep, a table with food a roof over your head Somewhere where everyone's thoughts are heard when said Home isn’t just a place, a house or a place to start A home is wherever in the world that owns your heart. You don’t have to be alone when your there A place where you can be yourself in the mirrors glare I’d go back home whenever I could be transported It’s not just a house it’s where you are supported So this is me telling you to not take it for granted Even if the roof is crooked or the ground is slanted If you leave it you can’t turn back now You’d be haunted for the rest of your life somehow
