The Home That I Truly Live In

Home is where I feel special and has all the things I like in it for example my mom’s yummy cooking like salad or cookies. Home is the place I call safe where no one will make me feel embarrassed. Home is a very special place to me! Home is where my family does their own things. It is also loud everyday. The roaring cars are heard outside of my house and it is like lions roaring at each other. My home is where I can express myself without being nervous in public. No one will ever doubt me if I am at my home. All the foods I taste make me feel more unique and special being part Chinese and Portuguese. I will always smell dumplings, tarts, salad, etc., I wouldn’t love all of these foods without my mom’s loving cooking. I wanted to be a brave bird for my whole life. My parents are the big birds while my brother is the middle bird. I imagine that I live in a nest on a tree surrounded by my family's love. I would spend time with my three friends in school and my four friends from my imagination, I would tell them all the things that happened to me and they would say that my life could have been better than theirs but also saying that life can be hard for a lot of people and we have to be strong. My home reminds me that my life is wild and can take me to somewhere no one can explain. My home is like a bird’s nest on a tree surrounded by my family and all the amazing love they bring to me everyday!
