Home Is Where

Home is where I play hide and seek with my family. We get along and play together happily. Home is where I can use my telescope to stargaze. It has been awhile since my outer space phase. Home is where I smell my favourite foods cooking. You can find me in the kitchen looking. Home is where I can wear my comfy clothes and no socks. It is how you find me when I'm playing with Minecraft blocks. Home is where I can have space to myself and find someone when I don't want to be alone. Sometimes I'm on my own listening to Post Malone. Home is where I am free to move my body by pillow fighting and jumping on the trampoline. Sometimes we add soap and water and then it's very clean. Home is where I can hear laughter when my Dad shares his Dad jokes. It is also where we read Harry Potter and dress up in our invisibility cloaks. Home is where I can read books and play video and board games. Sometimes we watch basketball on TV and try to learn the player's names. Home is where we celebrate special days like my birthday we put on music and dance and play. Home is where I can rest as much as I need when I am done running around with my super sonic speed. Home is where I feel safe to be me and that makes me feel so happy.
