My Loving Home
Home you see, it is not just four brick walls with a roof and some windows, but home is a place filled with love, comfort, and emotions. While yes, home may be joyful, but home can be anger, fear, loneliness and pain. Home is what builds character, strong emotions and a perseverance that may last longer than others do. Home is the joy of coming home to freshly warm baked cookies or brownies, with the most special ingredient, love. Home may not be as big as others, some homes are smaller, but that does not mean they are filled with any less comfort and love. My house may not be as big as yours, maybe bigger than yours, but we all share one thing in common, that is joy within your home. Your home may not have much shelter but love can keep you going, encouragement and passion. Your joy within your home may be coming home to a warm hug from your parents or a simple smile from your family members. We all have our ups and downs with our home. But home is the place where love is shared the most. And that is why I decided to write this short story so Habitat for Humanity can build a home for any in need. Thank you for listening to my story.
