What Home Means To Me

Home is a special place where laughter reaches through the halls and love resides in every room. Home is a place where all my belongings are. As I walk through the front door the scent of my moms kitchen signals me that something delicious is being cooked. In the living room my comfy couch is a favourite spot when I reach home and where I relax. I curl up in a blanket and watch my favourite show. My bedroom is my personal space with a cozy bed and with my favourite stuffed animals,and my piano. It is where my dreams come true and where I find peace after a long day of learning and sports. My backyard is a place of possibility. I like to play soccer and tennis in my backyard. It is a place where I can hang out with my friends. My home is just not a place, it is a feeling of belonging and safety. It’s where I am surrounded by those who care and love me. In every nook and cranny there is a story to be told. I am grateful for the warmth and love that makes my house a home. My home is where I make long lasting memories and where I have joyful moments with those who I love.
