What makes a home a home?

Do you ever think of what a home really is? It's not just where you live, but a place that has so much more meaning. Home is where most of your necessities are, where memories are made, and where your community is. Personally without these 3 things, a home wouldn't be a home at all. First, there's the food. Have you ever smelled cookies baking in the oven on a sunday afternoon? That smell is what makes a home feel cozy and warm, like a hug from someone you care about , and what about dinner with your family? That's where all the stories are made. You share the good times and the bad, all over a good meal. Next up, there are the memories. These are the things that we keep with us forever. They could be pictures, heirlooms, or anything that makes you remember the happy times. These things make a home more than just a place to sleep, they make it your home. Last but not least, there is community. These are the people who make your home feel like a home. They are the ones who make it special. Without them, a home would feel empty and cold. Your family, your friends, even your neighbours, they all make your home more than just a building, they make it a place where you feel safe, loved, and cared for. So when you think about it, a home is more than just a building. A home is a place where your memories, necessities, and community live and make it so that you can truly call your home a home.
