What home means to me
To me, home is not just a building, it is a place I wish will never be destroyed. It is a place where I feel safe. My home is the starting place of love, hope and dreams. It is where love resides, memories are made, and laughter never ends. Home is not just a place, it is a feeling. In my home I fit in like a puzzle piece. Home is an endless path. From the vast arguments to the warmth of my parents hugging me. Home is where my cherished items are, like my Bed, my PS4, my iPad and my couch, there are many more. Four walls and a roof is not the true meaning of home, home is where we feel, we touch, we eat, we smell and where we live. No matter how big or how small, to how wide or how thin your home is, it will always be your home. Home is not just a regular word in the English dictionary, it is a strong and meaningful word that can describe a place that shelters and protects you. I am always very thankful for my home because I do not know where I would be without it. It has given me the things that I used to grow up and live my life. It has given me a place to refuge from any storm, any danger or anything that is harming me. Home is where my mother makes wonderful dishes for me with care, it is where I celebrate religious and national festivals that are important to me like Diwali, Holi and Christmas. My home provides me with a warm and comfortable bed that I can sleep in. My home will always be there for me and my family and loved ones.
